Why We Do What We Do

We call these mountains home.
For our team, wildfire protection is personal.
We've called Colorado's mountain communities home for more than 30 years. We've watched wildfire seasons become longer, drier, and more unpredictable, and we know what's at stake when you live surrounded by forests, wildlife, and the natural beauty that makes this place so special.
When we started Emberwise, we knew we wanted to offer a solution that not only helps protect homes and properties, but also respects the environment we're working to preserve.
That's why we chose Komodo®.
Komodo is an advanced wildfire retardant designed with both effectiveness and environmental responsibility in mind. Its biodegradable, eco-conscious formulation allows us to help reduce wildfire risk while remaining mindful of the forests, streams, wildlife, and mountain ecosystems that make Colorado unique.
As an Authorized Komodo® Applicator, we don't just apply a product—we provide a professionally applied wildfire mitigation solution backed by one of the industry's most innovative technologies.
Because protecting your home should never come at the expense of protecting the place we all call home.
Our Process

Free Remote Estimate
It all starts with a quick conversation. Using satellite imagery, we'll review your property remotely and provide a complimentary ballpark estimate based on your property's size, terrain, vegetation, and treatment needs. This gives you a general idea of pricing before committing to an on-site visit. If you decide to move forward, we'll schedule a property assessment at a time that's convenient for you.

On-Site Assessment
Once you're ready, we'll visit your property to create a customized wildfire mitigation plan.
During the assessment, we'll evaluate:
-
Property size and layout
-
Vegetation and fuel sources
-
Buildings, decks, fences, and other structures
-
Access points and surrounding landscape
-
Areas that would benefit most from treatment
We'll walk the property with you, answer your questions, and explain our recommendations so you know exactly what to expect before any work begins.
No two properties are alike, and neither are our treatment plans.

Professional Treatment
Once your treatment plan is approved, our team will professionally apply Komodo® wildfire retardant to the designated areas of your property.
As an Authorized Komodo® Applicator, we follow manufacturer-recommended application methods to help ensure consistent coverage and performance. Our goal is to help reduce wildfire risk while preserving the natural beauty of your property using an eco-conscious wildfire mitigation solution.
After the application is complete, we'll walk you through the work that was performed, answer any final questions, and provide recommendations for maintaining a wildfire-ready property.
